The optimal diameter of a circular table depends on the desired use, the available space and the existing furniture. Even for small and awkwardly shaped rooms, you can find a beautiful round table made to measure. For larger rooms, you usually need a larger table so that it does not disappear visually.
Depending on the purpose of your round table, you determine the table height. If chairs are already available, then the perfect table height is based on this. A height of 75 to 80 cm is usual. A distance of about 30 cm between seat height and table height is recommended. If, on the other hand, a round table is to serve as a coffee table, then the table height is naturally lower. It is usually between 30 cm and 50 cm. You can use our round column tables as coffee tables.
Due to their shape, round tables have a more dynamic effect than rectangular tables. Depending on the table model, you can choose between a table column and three or four table legs to ensure the necessary stability. With some of our round table models, you have the alternative of choosing a real wood veneer or an MDF top for the tabletop. With an MDF top, you have the choice between white, crimson and dusty grey colouring. The tabletop itself is either three or four centimetres thick. With our configurator, there are no limits to your imagination. With a few of our table models, it is also possible for the edge of the tabletop to taper downwards. This so-called Swiss table edge looks particularly filigree.
