The requirements for a wardrobe are as unique as the people who use it. No two bedrooms are the same and the volume and type of clothing also depends on personal preferences. That's why configuring customised furniture offers enormous advantages. Pickawood manufactures the products individually according to the customer's wishes. The customer determines the size, colour, material and design of their wardrobe, choosing from countless options. For the lacquered surfaces alone, there is a choice of more than 200 RAL colours. Fine real wood surfaces and coated decors are also available. Sophisticated material combinations for an exclusive look are also possible.
Wardrobes made of solid wood continue to be popular. At Pickawood, the customer can choose between noble oak, attractive beech, elegant cherry or robust ash. Alder wood is also appealing with its even structure. If you want your custom-made wardrobe to have a lively grain, you can order a model in beech heartwood. Like oak, walnut is also a fine wood and is also available from Pickawood. If you like it lighter, choose maple. A wardrobe made of pine is one of the less expensive versions. At first glance, the wardrobe with real wood veneer is hardly distinguishable from a real wood variant. The furniture consists of a medium-density fibreboard. This is covered with a thin layer of real wood. Another inexpensive alternative is wardrobes made of MDF. This is a very stable, medium-density fibreboard that comes in a wide variety of colours. Wardrobes made of chipboard are considerably lighter and also cheaper.
The carpenters at Pickawood only use sustainably produced wood from Europe's forests to manufacture the custom-made furniture. Many wardrobes are treated with colourless and solvent-free quality oils from BIOFA. These protect the wood and perfectly bring out the natural structure and nuance.
Whether free-standing, ceiling-high or in an alcove - Pickawood has wardrobes for every space. The custom-made wardrobe fits perfectly in your home. Each piece of furniture is precision millimetre work. In addition to the dimensions, the customer also determines the interior design. It is possible to divide the wardrobe into zones and set up columns, compartments and clothes rails. This also works easily with the configurator. If desired, it is even possible to install a clothes lift. The lifts ensure that you can also reach clothes in high areas in your wardrobe comfortably and effortlessly. Such a device offers advantages especially for ceiling-high models. Fold-out mirrors, trouser and skirt holders complete the range. Customers can also opt for an open or closed front. Glass and mirrored doors look particularly elegant. Mirrored doors in particular serve as a functional extra for the dressing room. In addition to the drawers, doors and compartments, the handles can also be configured. Here, too, the customer has an attractive selection to choose from.
The configurator offers an extensive choice of materials, colours, dimensions, designs and accessories. Nevertheless, every now and then there are customers with extra wishes. Of course, special designs are also possible after consultation. During the furnishing consultation, the customer finds out whether his wish can be realised. If necessary, he or she will receive alternative suggestions. The experts are always open to personal visions, even if it involves a mix of materials or colours. A small sketch is often enough to illustrate more complicated wishes. Made-to-measure wardrobes in many oversizes are also feasible. Even if the required dimensions cannot be configured, most customers still get exactly what they have in mind.
Too many impressions at once and the choice is sheer overwhelming? Then let yourself be inspired by our prefabricated wardrobes and by the customer gallery. However, we are also happy to customize the models and design a wardrobe that harmonizes perfectly with your dressing room.
