Table length: How to find the right size

Plan your dream table down to the last centimetre up to a length of 300 cm. If you need different dimensions for your table, please send us a message and our interior design consultants will be happy to help!

  • We offer tables with tabletop thicknesses of 3 cm or 4 cm. If you are planning a table with a length of 220 cm or more, you will need a 4 cm thick tabletop.
  • You should allow for a width of approx. 60 to 70 cm per person. Keep in mind that the table legs (depending on the model) can slightly restrict the usable space between the seats.
  • If you want to be able to extend your table flexibly, you can plan for extension leaves with a frame (can be planned in step 2).

Table height

  • Ideally, the distance between the seat and the top of the table should be approx. 30 cm. (Example: 45 cm seat height + 30 cm distance = 75 cm table height).
  • Armrests & frames: For chairs with armrests, pay attention to the table frame (the strut under the tabletop). This is 7 cm high for standard tables and 10 cm high for extendable tables. It is best to measure your chairs to ensure that they fit easily under the table.

Materials

Choose from twelve different solid woods for your custom-made table. You can choose between an oiled surface and a lacquered surface. We will be happy to send you up to two free wood samples to give you a better impression.

Table edges

You can choose between different edge shapes. In addition to the standard straight edge, we offer a natural edge that preserves the original growth of the tree trunk. Round edges are available for a softer look, while the Swiss edge creates a particularly delicate look with its bevelled underside.

Extension mechanism

The Nizza and Bordeaux models can be planned with a base length of 140 cm to a maximum of 240 cm and extended by up to 100 cm. Furniture castors integrated into the table legs and ball-bearing aluminium extension mechanisms guarantee stability and easy handling. For technical reasons, these models are always manufactured with straight table legs and straight edges.

Extension leaves

Tables with frames can be optionally equipped with extension leaves on one or both sides. The length can be freely selected between 10 and 47 cm, with the maximum size depending on the size of the table top. This extension offers a flexible solution for quickly increasing the number of seats as required.

1. How will my table be delivered?

With the exception of the Madrid table model, which is delivered assembled in one piece, all other models are delivered in two packages: One with the tabletop, the other with the table legs to attach.

2. Is the assembly of the table complicated?

For the Madrid model, you only need to remove the protective packaging as the model is delivered assembled in one piece. For our other models, the assembly is quite simple and involves attaching the legs to the tabletop. The most difficult part is handling the tabletop, which can be heavy. We recommend that two people turn the tabletop in order to attach the legs. 

3. How long is the delivery time?

The estimated delivery time is indicated in the configurator and in the shopping cart. For special requests, the delivery time may be extended by 2-4 weeks, depending on the additional work required. During busy Christmas, Easter and summer vacations, the delivery time may also be extended by 2 weeks.

4. What care is required for my table?

It is advisable to maintain consistent care for your table. A good tip is to wipe the table with a dry microfiber cloth after each meal to remove dirt. For heavier stains, you can use a damp cloth or an appropriate care product for the material of your furniture. For more information, see our Care and Cleaning Tips page.

5. Can I cancel and return my table after delivery?

Since we do not hold inventory and each table is made individually for our customers, we cannot accept returns of custom-made furniture. We thank you for your understanding.
