In just a few steps, you can design your individual bookcase in white with your measurements. Alternatively, you can also send us a drawing with measurements. This is useful if, for example, you would like to use the shelf to convert a door or other piece of furniture, or if you would like a custom-made product. We will be happy to advise you personally in a detailed telephone conversation. If you are from near Hamburg, you also have the option of visiting our showroom and having our interior designers assist you directly with your planning.
Sustainable and environmentally friendly materials - from the woods to the oils
Pickawood UK offers you a comprehensive service and products of the highest quality. We want to make our customers happy without harming the environment. Sustainable production is therefore very important to us. In order to achieve sustainability in the production of our bookshelves, we rely on durable materials that can last for generations. On the other hand, we source our wood exclusively from sustainable forestry in order to promote the regeneration of our forests and preserve our ecosystems. We convert wood offcuts into wood samples, which our customers can use to make their material choices. Our products are also treated with natural BIOFA oils that are free of solvents and dyes.
To ensure that your custom made bookcase fits perfectly, we advise you to use our measuring service. A sales representative will come to your home and create a 3D measurement accurate to the millimetre using the latest laser equipment. The 3D measurement is particularly suitable for extensive planning, rooms with sloping ceilings or the furnishing of several rooms. The service is associated with additional costs. However, you will receive comprehensive planning over the phone and high-quality customised shelving with a guaranteed fit.
No. The 3D measurement service is a separate service. Our furnishing experts use the measurement data and create a configuration according to your ideas. You will receive this as a non-binding offer. You can make changes or express additional wishes. Only when you are satisfied and place the order with us, will your bookcase be produced.

Our consultations are free of charge and without obligation. You can place orders with us online via the shop and your shopping basket or directly via telephone contact.
How long production takes depends on your individual configuration as well as on the chosen materials. If you order via the bookcase configurator, you will receive an estimate of the delivery time at the end. In any case, we will inform you of the delivery times in your order confirmation. For complex designs, production can take several weeks. When your white bookcase will arrive at your home also depends on your place of residence and the delivery modalities of your country.
If you are in Germany or Austria, we will deliver your customised bookcase free of shipping costs. In Switzerland, you must reach a minimum order value for your delivery to remain free of shipping charges. You are welcome to book an assembly service for your bookcase when you place your order. For Germany, Austria and Switzerland, we will send you experienced fitters from our network. They will take care of the professional assembly of your piece of furniture in the shortest possible time. The assembly service includes the disposal of all packaging materials. You can also request the assembly of your shelving unit after ordering and delivery. Please contact us directly for this purpose.
