Table in detail

Table length

You can plan our high-quality table models online to the centimetre. Many tables are available in lengths of up to three metres. To configure this length, please first select a 4 cm thick table top. A person needs approx. 50 to 70 cm of space to sit. Also make sure that the thickness of the legs reduces the amount of space available for seating.

Table height

The height of a typical dining table is 75 cm. In general, we recommend a distance of 30 cm from seat height to table height. So if your chairs have a seat height of 45 cm, you should choose a table height of 75 cm. Coffee tables have a height of approx. 30 to 50 cm. For coffee tables with a shelf, the shelf is at the middle height of the table legs.

Materials

You can plan your custom-made table online in our high-quality solid woods. We distinguish between oiled and lacquered surfaces, which you can choose from. In addition to the solid tables, we also offer fine real wood veneers. These are slightly cheaper than the solid versions.

Table edges

Many of our table models are available with different table edges. Besides the normal table edge, the natural table edge is very popular. With this edge, the table top is not straightened and the natural course of the tree is retained. We also offer round edges and the classic Swiss edge.

Add-on Panels

You have the option to equip your table with a frame with add-on panels (on one or both sides) ranging in length from 10 to 89 cm, depending on your tabletop and on the table model.

Table apron

The apron is the frame beneath the tabletop that connects the table legs. It provides stability and prevents the table from warping or wobbling. For tables with an apron, the height is 7 cm, for extending tables, it is 10 cm.

Frequently asked questions about our tables

1. How will my table be delivered?

With the exception of the Madrid table model, which is delivered assembled in one piece, all other models are delivered in two packages: One with the tabletop, the other with the table legs to attach.

2. Is the assembly of the table complicated?

For the Madrid model, you only need to remove the protective packaging as the model is delivered assembled in one piece. For our other models, the assembly is quite simple and involves attaching the legs to the tabletop. The most difficult part is handling the tabletop, which can be heavy. We recommend that two people turn the tabletop in order to attach the legs.

3. How long is the delivery time?

The estimated delivery time is indicated in the configurator and in the shopping cart. For special requests, the delivery time may be extended by 2-4 weeks, depending on the additional work required. During busy Christmas, Easter and summer vacations, the delivery time may also be extended by 2 weeks.

4. What care is required for my table?

It is advisable to maintain consistent care for your table. A good tip is to wipe the table with a dry microfiber cloth after each meal to remove dirt. For heavier stains, you can use a damp cloth or an appropriate care product for the material of your furniture. For more information, see our Care and Cleaning Tips page.

5. Can I cancel and return my table after delivery?

Since we do not hold inventory and each table is made individually for our customers, we cannot accept returns of custom-made furniture. We thank you for your understanding.
